Good Day!

Do you feel neck pain or tension after typing, texting, gaming, or household chores?  I have patients mentioning this daily.  We tend to place excessive amounts of stress on our neck with all our activities that involve looking down (AKA “forward flexion”).   It might not be the 30 minutes of doing dishes, 1 hour of computer work, or 20 minutes of texting with your friends, but rather an accumulation of all of those stressors over your day that accounts for your neck pain.

Here’s the problem! Cervical nerve and muscular issues can lead to Cervicogenic Pain – meaning pain originating from the neck. Your neck pain could be your body’s way of signaling to you that there are more serious injuries to the muscles, ligaments, neck bones, or even your neck nerves.  It could be a warning sign of early Spinal Degeneration, also known as spinal osteoarthritis.  Thankfully there are chiropractors who are trained in corrective care of the spine and can possibly help with this. It’s always good to be proactive and get an exam. It is also important to take care of your neck at home.  Here are 3 easy stretches that you can start immediately to help relieve or fix your neck pain.  Enjoy my YouTube video below, give me a “Like”, and Subscribe to my channel.

In good health,
