New Patients – How Chiropractic Care Can Help
Chiropractic care was founded on the principle that the human body has an innate potential to heal itself. Your Nervous System (brain, spinal cord and nerves) is the master control system for your body. Your brain has an innate intelligence that makes every decision that your body requires to function, heal, and thrive. This information travels along your nerves to every tissue, organ and system in your body to keep you healthy and healing from sickness and disease. Common daily activities like sitting, computer work, repetitive work motions, and injuries cause spinal bones to misalign, causing detrimental nerve pressure. Nerve pressure restricts your body from functioning optimally, and can lead to tissue malfunction, pain, and eventual disease.
Chiropractic care retrains your spine to regain normal posture and alignment, thus removing the nerve pressure and allowing your body to function and heal at it’s optimal ability. Simply put, you’ll heal and feel better!

1st Visit: Consultation & Examination
As a new patient, After being greeted by our friendly reception staff, you will be escorted by our Examination Chiropractic Assistant to your private examination room. She will brief you on the exam process and then Dr. Murray will begin your consultation and examination. Your examination will consist of a thorough health history review, computerized posture analysis, orthopedic tests, neurological tests, and possible digital x-ray imaging. Please allow up to 45 minutes for your first appointment.
2nd Visit: Report of Findings
Once the doctor has had a chance to sit down and study your examination results, he will have you back for your “Report of Findings,” during which you will receive a detailed description of your current health condition, as well as a thorough package of information specifically tailored for you. If after going over the findings you decide that you would like to begin care, you will receive your first chiropractic adjustment on this visit.
New Patient Personalized Care Plan
It is at this point that the doctor will give you a personalized care plan to address and improve your condition, and get you feeling better. Your care plan will outline what needs to be done, how long it will take, and how much it will cost. Aside from chiropractic adjustments, your care plan may also consist of home exercises, home traction stretching, dietary changes, and other lifestyle tips. We will answer all of your questions, so you will fully understand and be confident about your decision before starting your care.

At Murray Family Chiropractic we provide several payment options. After we have figured out exactly what type of care you require, we will prepare a personalized program of care that will give you several payment options to choose from.
In an effort to make our services affordable for families, we provide discounted family plans. We also offer reduced fees for retirees and individuals over that age of 65.
